I was blessed to be self employed on my farm for 10 years, while also maintaining a wonderful working relationship as a mechanical design contractor with my former employer (RE Dimond & Associates). Since October of 2019, I have been on the mechanical engineering staff at Indiana University Bloomington campus as a mechanical designer and engineer. The varied number of both HVAC and Plumbing design projects have been a real treat to work on, and I really enjoy the staff and engineering management team I work under, especially my direct supervisor.I have 25 years of professional AutoCAD design experience, and nearly 20 years of MEP consulting experience. My strengths are field survey work and designing complex mechanical rooms while coordinating with other consultants/trades to avoid costly mistakes during construction. While I am primarily a HVAC designer, I also enjoy plumbing design. I am extremely detail oriented, hard working, an excellent communicator/facilitator and am an accomplished project manager.I also enjoy teaching and speaking professionally in the regenerative farming landscape, and have conducted many workshops on our farm and had the opportunity to speak on several occasions all over the country. I also write for an organic farming magazine (Acres USA).As for our farm, we still maintain a herd of black angus cross cattle that are 100% grassfed and finished on 50 fenced acres, as well as producing hay on 30 acres.I also enjoy watching baseball and playing board games.
