My technical expertise is in the areas of fitting, patternmaking, grading, and apparel computer applications, with proficiencies in sewing, garment engineering, fabric performance testing, washes, print methods, stitch and seam types, factory in-line inspections and comparative research for industry standardizationMy experience spans Men’s, Women’s, Men’s Big and Tall, Children’s sportswear; Knits, Sweaters and Wovens; tops, bottoms, dresses and tailored garments. My particular specialization is in Men’s tailored clothing and outerwear.The bulk of my career has been spent training and leading Technical Design teams with an emphasis on providing impeccable fitting garments that are brand right, quality right and on time production. I possess a cultivated eye that garners the ability to interpret and translate design intent into successful bulk produced garments. I am accomplished in the development and implementation of block systems, and overseas office and factory calibration that provide ease in product development as well as production approval. I have considerable experience in development of product manuals and grade rules suitable for company needs.Currently I am Director of Quality Assurance where I draw on all aspects of my career to mitigate, facilitate and resolve quality issues for the company.
