Project Manager • Responsible for coordination of all logistics and research projects under a $1.5 million, 3-year, multi-institutional, a grant awarded by the National Science Foundation• Translate research findings to team members, policymakers, practitioners, correctional facilities, and academic journals through briefs or publications best suited to fit their capacity• Engage with community members, policymakers, and practitioners to ensure research and programming are relevant, actionable, and adoptable• Develop and maintain individualized, trusting, and empathic relationships with grant beneficiaries (more than 350 formerly incarcerated women in Kansas and Missouri)Graduate Research Assistant • Conduct studies using a variety of research designs in both quantitative and qualitative methods (survey, experiment, focus group, interview, ethnography, longitudinal, content analysis)• Simultaneously manage multiple research projects with graduate student and faculty member collaborators from conception to publication• Present research at large conferences for both academics and professionals, in in-person and virtual formats• Mentor undergraduate students accepted into Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) on conducting research and analyzing data, funded by the National Science Foundation Instructor • Develop educational courses on digital technologies, cyber security, and Microsoft Office• Teach computer courses in-person and remotely to populations with very little to no computer experience. • Synthesize key findings from attendees of the Kauffman Foundation’s Research Bootcamp. Presented findings to Program Officers within Entrepreneurship department to analyze barriers and find solutions• Created research dissemination templates in order to close the gap between research and practice, in part by making evidence accessible to practitioners and policymakers• Coordinated with associates to discern barriers, needs, gaps successes of entrepreneurs across the country

MADI Makes -Research, plan, develop, and implement MADI Makes, a new branch of the MADI brand created to give job skills and employment to struggling women in the Kansas City, Metro Area. Responsibilities included conducting research on similar social enterprises, seeking out and hiring women, designing training course for employees, secure funding through grants and donors, and create awareness around the new program. Social Media - Collaborate with founder and social media director to establish social media strategy across all platforms. Strategically plan content to encourage online and in-store sales.Store Attendant -Give shoppers an excellent retail experience at the flagship store located in downtown Kansas City. For every item sold in stores and online, a pair of underwear gets donated to women in need in the Kansas City, Metro Area.

• Guided first-year, transfer, and non-traditional students and families through orientation sessions• Lead a group of 20 students daily to support their transition to KU through class planning and enrollment, discussions on campus resources and relationship building with fellow peers and staff of the university• Answered any and all questions to guests through presentations and individual conversations in regard to the university’s academic programs, resources, history, Lawrence and the surrounding Kansas City Metro area, and unknown facts about KU

Strategic Communication senior capstone course, partnered with City of Kansas City, Missouri Mayor's Office to develop campaign for city-owned innovation center opening summer 2017. Responsibilities included leading team of six members through primary and secondary research tactics throughout entire semester and compiling all findings to be presented to client.
