Through The Trust for Public Land's Climate Smart Cities national program, I am working with the City of Boston and the Metro Mayors Coalition on climate adaptation, mitigation, resiliency, and social vulnerabilities through the planning and implementation of multi-benefit green infrastructure solutions. Direct the Boston Urban Agriculture Program acquiring, designing, permitting, and developing vacant, underused lots into urban farms with a goal of twelve new farms in production by 2020.

In my current position with The Trust for Public Land, I work with state and federal agencies, municipalities, landowners, and private entities to enable their land conservation priorities. Through negotiating and managing multi-million dollar conservation transactions, I have collectively protected nearly 900 acres in MA and CT worth $23.7 million and raised over $18 million in public and private capital. With attention to non-profit sustainability, I have raised $1.095 million in private funds for operating support. I have established strong stakeholder relationships in the public and private sector and assist in internal programmatic development, from a community farm conservation program to The Trust for Public Land's trademark Fitness Zones program in Boston. This is a multi-partnership program with the City, Boston Public Health Commission and the YMCA that will provide outdoor recreation opportunities in underserved communities encouraging people to engage in outdoor play and exercise in city parks for more healthy communities.
