About Darci Miller
After a long, hard day of work in Cheyenne, Wyoming, I returned to my hotel room, blew my nose… and saw dirt in the tissue.*record scratch* *freeze frame*Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I got myself into this situation.Well, I’m currently the web content manager for the Professional Bull Riders. After college, I followed my passion for the Olympics to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to work in digital media for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee. After four years, my next opportunity presented itself at the nearby PBR. That’s how I found myself in Cheyenne, covered in dirt and other unmentionable substances in the pursuit of a good story.I’ve always been a lover of stories, and I spend my days helping people and companies tell theirs. I’ve interviewed multi-time world champions, local business owners, cowboys, Paralympic rowers, and everything in between. And I’ll put up with extreme heat, cold, and… well, literal bullshit to do so.But most of the time, I’m at my desk. I’m a web manager and an editor — a dear colleague is fond of calling me a “word wizard” — and write copy for all sorts of content. Evergreen pages, partner obligations, newsletters, YouTube videos, Facebook posts, etc. — you name it, I’ve written it, edited it, or published it for some of the biggest sports entities in the world.Something that sets me apart is my ability to adapt. Bull riding and figure skating is an incredibly strange niche to occupy, but I’ve never been fond of putting myself into just one box. Writing about every Olympic and Paralympic sport under the sun taught me that, if the skills are there, the material can be learned. No subject is too intimidating for me to tackle.Let’s connect!
