I have been a Professional Services marketer for over two decades and an A/E/C marketer since 2010. What I love most about marketing for professional services is the challenge and strategy involved in winning new work—especially trying to crack the code for breaking into new markets and project types. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with and learning from brilliant firm leaders and technical staff. I also love the diversity of roles that comes with being a professional services Marketing and Communications Specialist including investigator, strategist, creative writer, researcher, graphic designer, project manager (cat herder), a shoulder to cry on, and general solver of problems. I consider myself a strategic partner and collaborator with the people I work with. The relationships I build are carefully cultivated and nurtured based on mutual respect and trust.My primary skills include keeping a cool head under pressure, proposal and interview strategy, graphic design and layout, research, writing, video production and editing, motion graphics, and event planning.
