• Co-editor of "Broadening the Base through Open Space: Addressing Demographic Trends by Saving Land and Serving People," published by the Yale F&ES Publication Series in Spring 2009 and available online at http://environment.yale.edu/publication-series/environmental_politics_and_management/5864• Authored three chapters, conducting extensive research including personal interviews with land conservation and community organization leaders, on the topics of: o demographic projections in the United States, o the applications of land conservation for educational purposes, and o the opportunities for land conservation organizations to partner with community groups and larger outreach-based organizations to meaningfully expand the diversity of the conservation movement• Managed contributions from over a dozen prominent authors to produce a cohesive document prepared for publication

• Produced an analytical paper, based on original research, on affordable housing and Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) programs; this product was included in a high-level policy white paper for a state agency client and continues to inform state level decision-makers on the interaction between TDR and affordable housing policies• Created lobbying packets for use in promoting new TDR programs to decision-makers in the Central Puget Sound Region; this lobbying effort succeeded in achieving the passage of a TDR program bill in the Washington state legislature in April 2009• Crafted Powerpoint presentations which briefed the Governor’s office on the progress of TDR pilot projects, as well as presentations to educate interest groups on the uses of TDR• Provided valuable support on a broad array of projects working to establish new marketplaces for smart land use policy
