As CMO of IconOil, a new energy company, Darcy developed the branding and marketing material. In it's earliest days, print and powerpoint presentations were required for investors and collaborators to see the direction the company was heading in. Working directly with the president, CEO and CFO, Darcy designed and developed print material, websites, and digital presentations for investors, board members, government liaisons, stakeholders, indigenous people and the public. Specializing in custom building and renovations, Graham Building Group builds high quality residential homes. As visual lead, all design, finishing, colours, furnishings, etc. were under my umbrella. I was also in charge of all project budgets, financing, payables, receivables, customer liaison, timelines, scheduling, trade management, staging and sales.

As the creator of a group of cottage themed retail stores, my role was all-encompassing from concept to overseeing retail space construction and display spaces, fixtures and furniture. I staffed and managed all stores with up to 20 staff members seasonally. Book keeping, budgeting and buying for all stores was an exceptional skill of mine along with all visual aspects of the business from branding and marketing to retail display and special event planning and execution.

Working directly for the marketing manager and the sales director, Darcy was responsible for all print work, photography, product catalogues, marketing materials, packaging design, trade show materials and booth design.

As head creative, I secured all client accounts, worked through design challenges and lead a team of production personnel to execute to our client's satisfaction. With clients such as Tommy Hilfiger, CN, Canadian Tire Dealers' Association, Ducks Unlimited, The Bowring Group, Manitoba Hydro, The Standard Insurance, Lawton Partners and many more, our projects specialized in short run print pieces tailored to special events and departure projects.
