Gerard D’Arcy holds a B.ARCH from the University of Houston and a M.ARCH from the University of Arizona with a study focus in Design, Energy Conservation, and Sustainability. His Master’s Thesis developed a system of ecological design principles as a guide for the sustainable development of multi-family and mixed-use buildings in desert regions. He has worked with several Architecture Firms as well as independently. He has been integral to the production process of numerous residential and commercial projects. His experience has informed him in sustainable building strategies and materials including; straw bale, rammed earth, earth bag, integrated concrete formwork (ICF) and structural insulated paneling (SIP).Objectives: To continue to offer design, drafting, and permitting services to the architectural and construction professions.
