Founder and Creative Director of Second Language Design, launched in 2013. Second Language is a boutique NYC- and Westchester-based creative firm specializing in branding, print and web design, marketing, and strategy. Over the course of my career, I have developed corporate identity programs, websites, and national creative campaigns for some of the most recognized lifestyle, business, and consumer brands as well as independent businesses and non-profits. I pride myself in creating a company that is able to provide agency-level experience with less overhead and red tape than larger agencies.Previously, I was Creative Director at Rubenstein Creative, a division of Rubenstein Public Relations (NYC) that I founded with the company's president. I managed all in-house design projects, as well as client projects, from concept to completion. Projects included corporate identity systems and web design and development. I hired and managed freelancers to support our efforts. Prior to that, I was Jr. Art Director at IN Marketing Services where I worked on national creative programs for retailers such as Target, Walmart, Stop & Shop and Costco for leading brands including Pond’s, Caress, Vaseline, and Skippy. I am the recipient of an American Inhouse Design Award, an American Graphic Design Award, and a Package Design Award from Graphic Design USA Magazine.Specialties: branding and identity design, direct marketing, shopper marketing, print collateral, web design and development, and business strategy.
