I enjoy all aspects of information technology and the ability to provide that service to others, but my true passion lies within the configuration, management and support of personal computers and network operation systems. For nearly 30 years, I have contributed as a support technician and network administrator performing a variety of roles. Some of my experience includes the following:• Providing day to day management and configuration of workstations; servers and LAN networks• Working with end-users to provide ad-hoc training and resolution for day-to-day operation issues• Developing of desktop standards that includes backup and disaster recovery processes• Providing support of various desktop environments (Windows; MacOS; Linux) and Managing email services , Internet services, and various database and application servers• Providing corporate backups and disaster recovery• Creating IT Policies and Procedures Manuals to ensure processes are current such as virus protection, operating system service packs and hot fix roll out procedures• Management of software licensing• Troubleshooting, configuring, upgrading, and repairing hardware for user systems and serversIn addition to my technical skills, I thoroughly enjoy and demonstrate effectiveness when working with customers on a day-to-day basis. I have also demonstrated the ability to multi-task and contribute in a dynamic environment. I have strong interpersonal and communication skills that allow for clear concise communication.
