Trained as an anthropologist, thrive in telling stories about moments of connection and friction when people interact with technology. For me, those moments are the invaluable sources of inspiration that push us forward. I am passionate about identifying problem space, finding solutions, crafting stories about results and presenting actionable insights. My research philosophy centers on generative questions that provide insights about human needs, attitudes, and behavior. I have more than a decade of international research experience working in culturally and technologically diverse settings ranging from a remote village in Southwest China to the cosmopolitain city-state of Singapore. Specifically, I have developed a solid skillset in:• Field-based and theoretical research and practice• Ethnographic research• Project design, implementation and management• Communication and knowledge delivery, ranging from presenting complex research findings to public lectures, policy-oriented advocacy and teaching.
