Provided classroom support regarding children six weeks through eighteen years old by role modeling, training, observing staff, offer classroom management ideas, ensuring lesson plans are being carried out appropriately, and report to the trainer and directors regularly. If there is a child with a behavioral struggle I come role model for the teachers, ensure documentation is being taken, and set up conferences with parents. I encourage use of programs like KIT (Kids Included Together), make sure staff is aware of special needs in the center and work as a liaison between staff and management and between staff and parents. I have also had the opportunity to drive the small busses at the youth center to transport children to and from various locations. I also have trained many other staff to do the same. I do not currently have a CDL, but am willing to attain one in order to drive the 60 passenger bus.
