I am a highly motivated and dedicated civil engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and environmental engineering. I graduated from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany with a Master’s degree in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and environment. My master’s thesis looked at how industrial and commercial drainage systems affect the public sewer network in the “Logport Duisburg” industrial area.Prior to obtaining my master's degree, I obtained a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a main focus on Hydrotechnics from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo. My final project was to study how air and water temperatures are related.With practical experience in project engineering, technical coordination, and hydraulic assessment, I have worked as a project engineer in district drainage planning at Emschergenossenschaft/Lippeverband in Hamm. I also have experience as a technical officer in wastewater management and canal rehabilitation at the City of Rhede.Additionally, I am certified as a sewer rehabilitation consultant by the German Association for Water, Wastewater, and Waste (DWA). My expertise includes using various software tools such as CAD (2D/Civil 3D), GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), and database management systems like novaKandis, BaSYS, KanDATA, and PISA. I am also proficient in MS Office applications and have knowledge of hydraulic modeling software such as Kanal ++, Dyna, Flut, GeoCPM, SWMM, and Hystem-Extran.I am fluent in Albanian and German (my second native language) and have a good command of English. Furthermore, I possess a B driver's license. With a strong academic background, practical experience, and technical skills, I am committed to contributing to infrastructure projects and finding sustainable solutions in the field of civil engineering.
