The website was originally set up by one of their teen volunteers, and had not been updated in over 3 years.I conducted a website content audit with the following tasks:- Review of the entire site for flow and usability, including readability, redundancy, layout, visual design, content and missed opportunities.- Recommendations for improvements to improve usability, simplicity and design of the website (e.g., reorganizing the site menu and changing CTA text).- Rewrites of content and copywriting support, such as passive voice to active, and tightening sentences for conciseness and easier readability.The content for this website consisted of 8 main pages, and 32 sub-pages. My rewrites and recommendations were contained in a 17-page Google Doc. SOS estimates that my voluntary work on this project saved them over $4K.

Safos Dance Theatre is a dance and art non-profit organization that creates contemporary artistic forms that reflect the common experiences of their diverse LatinX community in Tucson, AZ. I provided copywriting support for their press materials and website:- Edits and rewrites for 1 e-brochure, 3 flyers, 7 blurbs for use in their newsletter and website, an email campaign (10 emails), and 6 newsletters.- A website content audit: - Review of two main pages of the site for flow and usability, including readability, redundancy, layout, visual design, content and missed opportunities. - Recommendations for improvements to improve usability, simplicity and design of the website (e.g., reorganizing the site menu and changing CTA text).This project helped Safos establish clarity, cohesiveness, and well-developed marketing materials. They can continue implementing concepts I shared as they create future campaigns and marketing collateral.Safos estimates that my voluntary work on this project saved them $3K. It also allowed them to support their larger LatinX community with artistic performances, opportunities, and community gatherings as well as continued equitable pay for artists.
