About Reece Santos
I have 20+years of healthcare experience that includes 18 years of direct patient care in emergency medicine as well as administrative skills. I am passionate about preventative care and sexual health & wellness. Being a holistic person, I believe mind, body and spirit have to be aligned for health and wellness. I love teaching self care, sexual education to youth as well as adults. I am able to provide trauma informed and culturally competent education for all ages. Through uplifting and educating my community (Boston) I hope to empower individuals to make healthier decisions for their lives. I also am a private doula who provides free or low cost services to Black birth givers. I was tired of hearing my friends and family were having bad labor and delivery experiences. Black womxn have the highest maternal mortality rates in America. I am part of the solution. I am able to limit the interactions with medical staff as well as medical interventions during labor by creating a peaceful environment. I holistically care for the birther making sure their emotional and physical needs are met during labor and delivery. I've helped 3 Black women have safe, healthy, and peaceful deliveries with minimal interventions.
