As the Chief Project Officer and Director of the Project Portfolio Management Office with the Office of the Chief Information Officer, I am responsible for establishing VSU's IT Investment Management governance, Project Management governance, and Risk Management. My role involves developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive Project Portfolio governance and methodology, including IT investment management (ITIM) based on the University's strategic plan, IT strategic planning, program, and project management.

Projects included: My Child Support (MCS) system (mychildsupport.dss.virginia.gov), 1 page application (https://mychildsupport.dss.virginia.gov/McsCaseApplication/ApplyNow ), Two-way text communication with MCS and its clients, COVID-19 response projects of DocuSign electronic signatures for child enforcement documents and the Special Status indicator identifying cases in response to emergency circumstances.• Communicated project plans and timelines to and obtained approvals from the business owners including the Deputy Commissioner of State Programs and DCSE Division Director.• Ensured that DCSE projects were compliant with governance policies and adhered to the governance processes set by Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA), VDSS and the Project Management Office while ensuring consistent application of Agile methodology.

Systems Administration support for US Army Technical Management Division (TMD) Integrated Personnel Pay System-Army Project Management Office (IPPS-A PMO).• Coached, mentored and lead personnel within a technical team environment in an Information Assurance Technical Level II technician per DoD 8570.01-M.• Provided technical support to PMO Chief, FMD Chief and their staff encompassing 200 end users.• Supported the Desktop Support Team in IPPS-A. Provided leadership in testing and evaluation of software and hardware. Support included desk-side training, troubleshooting, Windows 7 Desktop migration, and network analysis. • Maintained Classroom and Training environment supporting IPPS-A. This included Video Teleconferencing (VTC), DCO (Defense Chat Online), and all audio/visual equipment.• Maintained and secured the DOD’s SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility).
