👨🏽‍💼 I am a young lawyer passionate about the Justice System. In addition to my private practice, I collect rulings and judgments from all over around the world, which I share in my website: https://coleccionistadesentencias.com/.🏛️ Since I was a child I was intrigued by the workings inside that great neoclassical building on Paseo de la Republica Avenue: Palace of Justice. The first time I entered the headquarters of the Civil Courts of Lima (the ineffable Javier Alzamora Valdez Building) I was overwhelmed with the paper towers that enclosed human dramas and I saw that justice is not as glamorous as I thought but it is much more necessary than I could ever imagine.⚖️ Ever since then, I have been very interested in Procedural Law, the mechanisms for protections of rights and the structure and optimization of the judicial system. I am particularly interested in the role of the judiciary in democracy for the consolidation of the constitutional order and the protection of minorities and vulnerable populations, especially the LGBT community.💼 This has marked my professional career both in the Public Sector, where I worked in the Constitutional Court and in the National Academy of the Judiciary; and in the Private Sector, where I have had the honor of defending highly complex cases, in civil and commercial, constitutional, contentious-administrative and Human Rights matters, before judicial courts, arbitration tribunals and supranational organizations.☕ If you like the rulings and news I share or if we have any common interests, do not hesitate to follow me or connect with me.
