D. in Telecommunication Engineering from University of Vigo (Spain) and ex-professor in the same university.Head of technology at celiatecuida.com, an AtlanTTic Research Center project focused on creating a spin-off to commercialize an AI assistant for elderly that not only entertains and keeps company but also takes care of their health to early detect diseases like depression, anxiety and cognitive impairment.More than 15 years of experience in R&D projects in both, University of Vigo and Gradiant (the Galician research centre in advanced telecommunications) as project manager and senior researcher. Main research topics are related with artificial inteligence, cloud computing, security and privacy, service oriented architectures and e-Learning. Experience in taking R&D results to the market.Two years of experience as assistant teacher in the Telecommunication School of the University of Vigo. More than 30 scientific papers published in international conferences and journals.-----Doctor Ingeniero de Telecomunicación (especialidad Telemática) por la Universidad de Vigo.
