Change in Motion specializes in personal and team transformation through group drumming and coaching. It's all about moving individuals, teams and organizations from the seemingly impossible to limitless. I help groups and individuals reclaim their power, potential and purpose using the healing energy of rhythm to uncover and break blocks, shift individual and collective mindset, and create momentum for change.As an educator, musician, artist and lifelong learner, I’ve had a wide variety of experiences that have shaped my thoughts, beliefs, and actions. By investing in my own transformation, I’ve come to realize the importance of living a life that is in alignment with who I am, not what the world prescribes -- a life that is the truest representation of the most authentic me I can be. It is from this vantage point that I can fully contribute to the greater whole. As a former Music/Arts teacher in the elementary school system in Ontario, and a SWAT-certified Empowerment Coach, I have a wide range of experience and expertise in coaching students and adults alike to be their very best selves in any circumstance. My personal experience of obtaining a Therapeutic Drumming certification showed me firsthand how continuous group drumming can shift mindset, alleviate anxiety, build confidence, and remove personal blocks. Transformational Coaching is a process. It's digging deep enough to find the root causes of the beliefs you have, working to transform them, and ultimately moving into deliberate, purposeful action.
