I am a sinologist, and my research focuses on one of the most intriguing aspects of China's economic governance: the coexistence of two seemingly contradictory concepts - comprehensive development planning and a market economy.Currently, I am based at Tel Aviv University, where I am pursuing a doctoral project examining the transformation of industrial policies in China and their implications for economic development.Apart from my doctoral research, I enjoy exploring the dynamics of economic cooperation between China and developing countries, with a particular interest in policy learning processes.Outside of academia, I find great pleasure in painting and discovering new routes for long leisurely walks.
