I've been working at a product company in Hosting for 10 years - first in customer support, then as a QA. Strong domain knowledge and personal traits helped me grow into a Business Analyst (and for some time I had this role while working as a QA). I taught newcomers many times, and was among those who initiated project documentation which helped new people jump into the work faster. At a BA position I often take on the role of a project manager being responsible for the development flow of the project.
