Chief Financial Officer – Controller
Current♦ Manage financials for 75+ cumulative industrial properties for development, entitlement, and rehabilitation, including sponsors and joint ventures, spanning 5M+ sq. ft. of warehouse space. Collective gross sales exceed $500M, with average annual sales of ~$25M.♦ Conduct comprehensive financial analysis using underwriting models and accounting tools to validate, align, and reconfirm projections.♦ Prepare accurate financial statements for reporting, operating and covenant compliance with lenders and investors.♦ Collaborate with cross-functional teams during due diligence, acquisition, and post-closing stages to ensure seamless coordination and successful completion of projects.♦ Review and assess draft documents, including letters of intent, purchase and sales agreements, loan documents, and escrow settlement statements.♦ Affirm and approve final documents at close or post-close to record acquisitions and/or dispositions and ensure accurate documentation and recording.♦ Monitor business plans, update monthly proforma, and track project progress and profitability.♦ Oversee annual budgets, loan draws, lender cash sweeps, and profit splits for partners.♦ Developed a process to reconcile proforma results with accounting profit distribution schedules.♦ Manage banking relationships and handle treasury/cash management for multiple entity accounts.♦ Administer payroll, 401(k), and employee benefits.♦ Coordinate with tax firm for entity tax projections and tax preparation.♦ Act as a point of contact for investors and joint venture personnel, providing project status updates, financial, tax and project distribution information.
