Product bundles within my responsibility include complex BI reporting systems accompanying SAP solutions for financial transactions. In addition to that I oversee Group consolidation system used to collect and report IFRS results to shareholders and auditors, along with a comprehensive KPI and CAPEX data-entry and reporting BI solutions. We run on SAP BW and are currently moving to HANA.Major responsibilities:- Collecting IT requirements from internal customers (these are employees of HeidelbergCement subsidiaries across the World, with a major focus on Europe);- Orchestrating the activities of Development and Customization team, bringing together traditional SAP developers and BI analysts;- Customer development: frequent collection of customer feedback and bringing the insights to the product team;- Prioritizing the tasks for the IT department according to customer importance, budget and resource availability;- Formulating the vision for product development;- Close cooperation with IT Solution Owners (regular meetings - using the Kanban methodology for organizing daily routines);- Keeping and updating the backlog of customer requests;- Market research when new solutions are required, including communication with vendors, organizing PoCs, and facilitating final decision on a certain solution;- Creating business cases for specific demands.I also run a small side-project for my department - I have initiated and set up a small bike sharing for our teams. We have many office locations in the city, and moving around on a bike is cheaper, faster and healthier. At the moment we are building a mobile app to make the process of booking a bike easier. This project's mission is to enable easy fast and fun mobility for IT employees at the lowest cost for the Company.

Project management:- Leading a project on IT side (SAP BI);- Communicating with Business, accurate identification of customers' needs;- Translating customers' needs into SAP BI solution and guiding technical consultants through Business Process;- Budget and effort estimation;- Managing external consultants that provide technical solution for the project (IP in BO Analysis, retraction to SAP R/3);- Controlling the budget;- Ensuring delivery of the requested solution on time and in budget.As a member of project team:- Participation in multiple international roll-outs of pre-defined BI solution. Countries: Belgium, Great Britain, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Malaysia;- Strong customer orientation: communication in order to collect requirements and adjust them to SAP BI;- "Deliver them what they actually need and not what they would like";- Providing comprehensive classroom trainings on the tools in our portfolio: BI Portal, BEx Analyser, BO Analysis, Query Designer;- Supporting Business customers in creation of reports and helping them with finding the best solution for their needs;- Creating complex reports in Query Designer, BO Analysis, Crystal Reports;- Creating authorization patterns and authorization roles in the back-end;- Follow-up to ensure that customer is satisfied with our solution.As a member of delivery team:- Supporting customers on existing SAP BI solutions in FI/CO area:- Adjusting and assigning authorizations in the back-end;- Adjusting data model according to customer needs, namely: extractor changes, adding new fields and key figures, changing transformations;- Creating reports in Query Designer, creating variables;- Creating reports in BEx Analyser, BO Analysis and Crystal reports;- Communicating with Business on various levels of authority.
