Refactored the legacy (SP 2010) Continuity of Operations (COOP) Tracker solution for SharePoint Online that supports COOP exercises, validation tests, and events by supporting task dependencies, dashboards, performance reporting, and documentation. Solutions leveraged SharePoint Online lists, libraries, 2010 and 2013 workflows, InfoPath forms, standard web parts, CAML queries, CSS overrides, and scheduled external PowerShell script run as a replacement for timer jobs. Worked with end-users and business managers implementing OneDrive for Business, SharePoint libraries, and Office 2016 within their business processes.

IT system and service management for Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (FAMC, a.k.a. Farmer Mac).Managed system development and support for in-house and commercial systems including Farmer Mac's AgPower online loan origination system, Bloomberg Market Data Feed (B-PIPE), and Microsoft Dynamics. Modernized in-house development with updates to development tooling including Visual Studio Processional and Team Foundation Server (TFS). Freed developer time by migrating company's Intranet and internet sites from home-grown systems to SharePoint Online and Sitefinity, respectively. Transitioned operations to a more reliable and cost-effective vendor for Internet and VoIP services. Revamped handling of corporate hardware, instituting standard baselines, refresh cycles, and security patch management.Installed SharePoint 2010 and SQL Server 2008 R2 on managed private cloud, later migrated to SharePoint Online Wave 14 (2010) and then Wave 15 (2013). Developed the Debt, Derivatives, and Equity (DDE) SharePoint solution as a replacement for the legacy Liquidity Investment Portfolio (LIP) database. DDE provides entry of debt and derivative transactions, matching of debt to specific assets, linking of debt to swap transactions, tracking of market data, and reporting on funding, derivative, and market activity. The solution uses lists, document and form libraries, InfoPath forms, and custom content types with Word templates having custom fields for ticket generation.

Led the technical implementation of SharePoint 2010 and Project Server 2010 for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) as part of the eWorld modernization program.Served as technical adviser to the Deputy CIO, deputy project manager for the eTranscription project, and supervisor of the on-site Avaya and Microsoft development teams. Worked closely with Adobe and Microsoft on support of custom metadata with the combination of MS Word, portable document format (PDF) files, and SharePoint libraries to support automated processing of electronic transcriptions of court proceedings. Developed standards for electronic transfer of court recordings and transcripts with third-party vendors.

Subject matter expert and consultant with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Collaboration Governance and Architecture Program (CGAP).Worked within the CIO office to interview domestic and overseas staff to identify technologies, specifically but not exclusively components of SharePoint, that would facilitate USAID's operations. Provided analysis and recommendations on use of collaborative technologies to the USAID CIO and Collaboration Governance Architecture Program (CGAP) office.

Department of Navy liaison for the enterprise SharePoint standards and procedures working group operating under the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO). Worked with colleagues and customers in all DoD departments and agencies performing technical and business analysis of Combatant Command, Service, Agency, Field Activity (CC/S/A/FA) SharePoint practices and standards. Collaborated with liaisons from other military branches to author guidelines and recommendations for implementation and usage of SharePoint throughout DoD.

Provided information assurance (IA) leadership to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Field Security Office (FSO).Assessed the security controls of information systems by assembling and leading security inspection teams on comprehensive evaluations of the technical and non-technical security features of DoD information systems. Evaluated and determined the extent to which the controls were implemented correctly, operated as intended, and produced the desired outcome with respect to meeting the security requirements. Reported on the system's security posture with recommendations for remediation of weaknesses and vulnerabilities.Note: At the time of employment, the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) was in place. DIACAP is the predecessor to the current Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST Special Publication 800-37.

Microsoft SharePoint consultant for Planet's Federal customers and potential customers.Specialized in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 serving clients including the U.S. Department of Transportation's (DoT's) Office of CIO, Department of Justice's (DoJ) Justice Management Division (JMD) and National Security Division (NSD). Supported the American Council for Technology (ACT) and Industry Advisory Council's (IAC) use of SharePoint for planning Executive Leadership Conference planning.Worked within the DoJ's Justice Management Division (JMD) to institute SharePoint (Software) as a Service (SaaS). Promoted SharePoint collaborative features, conducted business analysis sessions, and migrated DoJ organizations to SharePoint. Provided one-on-one support, guidance, and graphical user interface (GUI) design.

Managed design and implementation of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI's) unclassified network (UNet).Developed architecture and implemented SharePoint in support of FBI field offices. Worked with liaisons at each field office (>50) to determine business needs and priorities. Configured group policies and client configuration baselines to support usage of SharePoint. Administered SQL Server in support of SharePoint. Served as a backup Exchange and Active Directory (AD) server administrator.Developed an incident command board solution for use by FBI command centers. The solution allowed FBI teams to quickly gather and track developments during exercises and events within the command center. The solution made use of custom lists, HTML/CSS/JS customization, and server configuration changes to optimize display on BlackBerry devices. This solution was cited by the Washington, DC field office's Special Agent in Charge (SAC) as being "...the best thing to come out of [FBI] headquarters."
