Darian Rashid is an organizational transformation specialist and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with over 20 years of experience in organizational transformation and improvement. Darian’s skills include organizational change, scaling, leadership, structure, culture, process and technology/infrastructure.Darian works with clients in numerous industries around the world to identify and solve some of their largest product-development and process problems. In addition to consulting, Darian is a skilled instructor with a keen understanding of adult education methods. Darian is also an active software engineer and actively leads teams through software development projects. Darian is skilled in planning and organizing large-scale (usually global) organizational transformations and understands how to overcome the challenges that this level of change brings to an organization and its people. Prior to his current role as coach and instructor, Darian had founded, acquired two rounds of venture capital funding for and sold Salsa Systems, Inc., a company that created software development tools for rapid application development and deployment. Prior to his experience with Salsa, Darian was a manager within the Corporate Computer and Network Security group of Lucent Technologies.
