I was promoted from Store Manager (High Volume Retail) to Dual Store Manager. I manage two stores within the company (managing two full teams), hire and train new associates and management, and drive sales at both locations.

Moved from store manager of a low volume store to store manager of a high volume store. Same responsibilities as before will more product getting pushed out the door. Learned how to manage, train, and develop a larger staff to accommodate demands of the business. Created and even better understanding of the behind the scenes processes that helped move product quickly.

Promoted to Store Manager of a lower volume store in the Columbus area. Learned about the power of scheduling the right people, in the right places, and at the right time. Started developing my recruiting skills and training my management team to develop the team as much as I do. Having my own store taught me more about acting as an entrepreneur and treating the store as if it was my own business while continuing to develop the other skills I learned in the company.

With this promotion I started my training as a loss prevention leader which progressed into becoming the sole individual in charge of those processes. I trained associates on loss prevention as well as performed monthly audits to ensure the store and team was compliant with all procedures.

This was my first role as a leader with the company and a significant increase in responsibility for the success of both the store and the team. I led sales by coaching associates in their roles, leading by example, and providing excellent customer service.

Started as a seasonal associate but was asked to stay after striving for excellence within my role. After 18 months I was promoted to a merchandising specialist role. I learned the back of house processes to flowing merchandise to the floor, storing and organizing product, and visual sets/adjustments to positively impact business outside of customer service.
