South Lake Tahoe, California

Supported overall operation of a high-traffic boat ramp by greeting the public, providing information, collecting fees, monitoring car and trailer parking, and maintaining security. Job required adherence to the Watercraft Inspection Program for the Lake Tahoe Aquatic Invasive Species Program, including inspecting and seals upon entry and exit. During boat ramp closures, performed a variety of duties involving the upkeep, cleaning, and supervision of City-managed parks, as assigned.

South Lake Tahoe, California

Performed data collection (ie. measuring infiltration rates and sediment accumulation) to assess the efficiency of the complicated stormwater filtration system utilized in South Lake Tahoe; conducted inspections of City stormwater infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and potential pollutant sources; drafted notices to businesses for code violations pertaining to stormwater in South Lake Tahoe; assisted in digitizing parcel easement data.
