Commenced work as Technical Support Engineer, providing pre / post sales support and end-user solution development centred on the Apple Macintosh. During this time, had the opportunity to explore and develop mainframe integration solutions for government, academic and research institutions. Also, had the opportunity to collaborate on CAD, visualizations, sequencing, secure remote sensing and 3D imaging related projects being developed for the likes of Defence, NATO, Oxford University, Rutherford Laboratories to name a few organizations.

Hired as Area Support Manager, with the responsibility of providing pre / post sales support to 20+ reseller network, recommend solutions, maintain and operate a repair centre and develop new vertical markets. Introduced into the market, CASE development tools for rapid GUI based database development, initiated an IT internship program, expanded and intergrated AppleTalk networks to SNA, DECnet, TokenRing, X25 and VSAT. Designed and developed factory control and automation systems working in conjunction with DEC/VAX systems.
