Leading a Level 2 Support team of 14 people covering Rosemount products within pressure, temperature and level for Europe. My aim was to provide continuity of team leadership and to get more experience of what it takes to be a manager and leader.I had the responsibility to start up the European Distribution Automation Team (DAT) and bring together the European factories (Sweden, Germany, UK and Russia) to discuss and align automation projects, and to clarify objectives and vision for this team (as compared to global or site-based teams).
