Rarely do the big brewer keep large/expensive spare parts for a machine in every one of their breweries. The manage their spare parts inventory by using technology and a common database to keep track of all suppliers’ parts, all of breweries to access the database and get the parts they need from the other breweries anywhere in the country.“That concept and technology allows the “big guys” to save a lot of time, money, inventory space, and works really well.
