IVC is the #1 manufacturer of store brand vitamins and nutritional supplements in the US. Reporting directly to the COO, I was recruited initially to integrate an operating model within the organization, which had experienced high growth through acquisiton. Developed and implemented a standardized operating model for standard work, measuring and managing performance, and continuous improvement at all manufacturing plants within the US (6 total). During the course of tenure, I assumed responsibility for the enterprise PMO, as well as all US manufacturing operations.

Completed a variety of assignments for various clients in the Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage regulated environments including: - Interim Site Director for Pharmaceutical manufacturer. Managed daily operations, full physical inventory, implemented daily management systems, created capital strategy, completed the yearly operating budget and facilitated the hiring and on-boarding of permanent site director. - Managed Rx Drug Serialization implementation for Mid Sized Pharmaceutical manufacturer. - Managed Equipment IQ/OQ for Combo Drug/Device startup - Implemented Labor Reduction Project for Food Manufacturer which included the development of Operations Leadership mentoring, Daily Management Systems, Schedule and Product Standards Optimization, Planned Downtime reduction and 5S.

Product Quest/Ei provided topical solutions in Rx, OTC, Therapeutic Skin Care and Animal Health markets for formulation, supply chain and manufacturing of topical products. I was recruited initially to stabilize an under-performing plant and build operational capability to support significant growth objectives. I developed and implemented a continuous improvement methodology in support of the successful transformation of a cosmetics / OTC contract manufacturer into a product-based topical pharmaceutical company. Executed multiple process improvements and plant capital expansion to enable 6X growth of the base semi-solid business in 3 years, while diversifying away from significant customer and channel concentration. After merger, role was expanded to Vice President of Operations with multiple site responsibility.

$1.7B infant and baby food manufacturer, acquired by Nestlé from Novartis while I was TPM Manager. Responsible for Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost in Aseptic Production Department with 104 Employees. Use TPM methodology as manufacturing model. Includes Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, etc.Demonstrated the capability to lead implementation of a continuous improvement methodology in a large, complex organization (>750 employees, >$200MM spend) and manage risk to achieve stretch results. Created necessary conditions to enact success at plant site and in the broader business during a period of tremendous challenge. Engaged a change resistant union workforce to align with and execute against a vision of excellence, as demonstrated by significant and simultaneous improvement across all key result areas.

Provided consulting services for clients in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Services included development and delivery of an on-site Train-the-Trainer program, custom training documentation, process improvement consulting.
