The strategic initiative addresses the unique needs of under-resourced neighborhoods with concentrations of poverty and unemployment. Build relationships with local and national redevelopment partners as well as philanthropic organizations that have shared goals with the Port Authority’s work in neighborhood revitalization.

Darin Hall leads the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority's real estate development activities. The Port Authority is quasi-governmental entity established to focus on economic development activities in the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County Ohio. The Port Authority makes strategic real estate investments that catalyze development in its focus areas. The process is site identification, assemblage, acquisition, master planning, significant political and community outreach, entitlement, environmental assessment, remediation, demolition, site preparation, and ultimately the redevelopment of the property.

Day-to-day operations of The Preservation of Pittsburgh initiative, Atlanta's first large-scale residential revitalization effort based on principles of affordability, energy efficiency, resource conservation and environmental stewardship. • Managed consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure that neighborhood transformation and community benefit goals were met.• Developed relationships with foundations, social investment funds, bankers, corporations, government entities, and other sources of funding for the benefit of the Partnership for the Preservation of Pittsburgh effort. • Worked collaboratively with the City of Atlanta's Department of Housing project development team, community stakeholders, financial contributors, and government entities to manage the acquisition, land banking, renovation, and disposal of real estate purchased and ensure continued support for the plan.

Provided leadership in the advancement of the Atlanta Civic site's Neighborhood Transformation strategy. Worked with the Director of Neighborhood Transformation, Annie E. Casey executives, and community stakeholders to create a nationally replicable model of responsible community development. This strategy, which focuses on sustainability and community equity, featured the creation of Sustainable Neighborhood Development Strategies, Inc. to serve as a "place-based" master developer for the project. Socially Responsible Investment from the Annie E. Casey Foundation and Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding from The Department of Housing and Urban Development provided the initial funding for the project.

Founded DCH Capital Group to provide investment banking services to businesses and high performing non-profit organizations seeking capital. Successfully created partnerships between non-profit organizations, market capital sources, and municipalities to spur community economic development projects.

Analyzed, structured, and negotiated M&A transactions in support of the global strategic goals of The Coca-Cola Company. Transactions included acquisitions and divestitures of soft drink and juice brands, bottling companies, and source water acquisitions.

Responsible for the daily management of Coca-Cola Financial Corporation’s Latin American, Middle & Far East, National Accounts, and Western Fountain Area loan portfolios. Developed and underwrote financing programs in support of the strategic initiatives of The Coca-Cola Company. Negotiated the legal documentation required to close and fund transactions. Developed and executed strategies to resolve problem loans.

Responsible for a $1.0 billion portfolio of large corporate banking relationships for Fortune 500 corporations located in the Southeastern United States. Services provided included business development, credit underwriting, negotiating term sheets and legal documents, and supervision financial analysts in office.
