Fabricator & Welder, Werts Welding & Tank Service, Wood River IL (10/2012- Present)• HazMat CDL licensed in Illinois• Welding: MIG, TIG, Stick (including food grade welds)• Welding of: Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel• Build straight truck tank units for petroleum, vacuum, lube oil, or water• Complete fabrication to customize straight truck to customer requirements including mounting of side boxes, hoses, gauges, and pumps to improve functionality and usability• Ability to visualize concept ideas and bring them to reality for customers• Interact with customers to understand their needs and suggest changes/upsell as appropriate• Educate/ train customer on use of product in the safest manner possible• Use blueprints/ schematics/ build sheet to complete projects for customers• Wiring on truck, including cab, work lights, meters, printers, and strobe lights• Install hydraulics for drive motor• Fork Truck Certified, confined space trained• Accident damage repair (aluminum, stainless or carbon steel)• Stainless Steel jacket wrappers & heads along with customized fabrication• Overfill system probe install and troubleshooting• Certified Final Stage Assembler (for truck mounted units)• Complete hydraulic systems with pumps or blowers• Hose, Pump & Meter customization, installation, and repair• Addition of hoses and hose trough on truck• Mount boxes for utility purposes• Backup camera, activator installations• Electronic overfill repair and/or replacement• ABS brake repair, complete brake jobs and suspensions• Perform pressure and leak testing as required• Ability to perform certified testing:o ( V ) External Visualo ( I ) Internal Visualo ( K ) Leakage Testo ( P ) Pressure Testo ( T ) Thickness Testo ( L ) Lining Inspectiono ( K-EPA27 ) Method 27 Vapor Tightness Test, 63.425 (e)(1)
