I am a problem solver and tinkerer. I love puzzling through issues and being hands on. It is what I do even when I am not on the clock. Life never goes according to plan, there is always something that needs to be fixed.My real experience starts when I was twelve years old. I took a leadership role in my church youth group. When I was fourteen I opened a candy store and ran it out of my living room closet. At fifteen I met with city council and got land zoned and donated for my Eagle Scout project. I organized a group of people to help and made a large sign to welcome people to our town. At eighteen I started my own roofing company. I had three employees and we all stayed busy. I put in a bid and we got a whole housing development. Nineteen was when I joined the Marine Corps. I was only in a couple of weeks and was recognized for my dependability. I was assigned as a squad leader for the rest of boot camp. Once stationed, I was assigned as a fire team leader and managed my men effectively until my honorable discharge. The following years I held multiple leadership positions from crew chief on a concrete crew to lead hod tender for brick masons, from supervisor at a thrift store to starting my own boxing club. I have been in charge of study groups, and was a single parent for nine years. Currently I hold a leadership position in my church. I do that voluntarily and without pay. Suffice it to say in one way or another I have approximately twenty years of legitimate leadership and work experience. I can manage my time well, make good decisions, and get the job done right. I am comfortable enough with computers to learn quickly. I am the guy that can get anything done. I can do this job and do it well.
