I’ve spent years in customer service with a background in training, development and New store openings. My journey has been special and have learned from so many individuals. With over 20 years of customer service, from retail to food and beverage, learning so much along the way. From 16-20 years old I worked at what is now GameStop, becoming one of the youngest managers in the company at 18. I helped open over 20 locations in Los Angeles prior to starting a new journey in the restaurant industry. Starting as a host, working my way up to a GM and eventually an opening coordinator In charge of staffing, training and opening over 25 new locations over a 7 year stretch. I took a little break from the world to focus on life, family and my mental health, which many would be too afraid to put in their journey. My journey defines who I am, one who has overcome countless of hurdles to be where am today, working my dream job. I spent 6 years with a sneaker retailer, starting as an Am after diving back into retail but quickly moving up the ranks to a DMIT. With a passion for training and development but also a love for sneakers, I got the break of a lifetime joining an ever growing and evolving company Shoe Palace as a district manager. No day so the same, but every day I’m growing, learning, becoming better. I have the best job in the world, surrounded by Amazing hard working people. If my journey has one message, don’t give up, find something you’re passionate about, find out how it can equate to a career and go after it! Also understand that though the subject of “mental health” isn’t wildly accepted in many circles, it is a reality and one I live with daily but it does not define who I am, it makes me work that much harder.
