Analyze 5500 parts on Vehicle Bill of Material and approve Tooling/Capital for uplifts. Led 13 Assembly plants with an average $500M cost and managing $6.5B annual spend.

Represent the supply base in the 3-5 year strategy for all Powertrain Components. - Guide sourcing and design strategy while assessing latest technologies.- Lead Manufacturing reviews of supply base to assess manufacturing capabilities.

Supplier Development -Working with the supply chain to minimize waste with emphasis on teaching with tools including Value Stream Analysis, Value Chain Analysis, VA/VE, 6-Sigma, and Balance Boards. -Assessing current production capabilities of the supply base and identifying opportunities to pursue cost savings. -Facilitating communication between Engineering and Purchasing to develop long term supplier strategy. -Assisting with Target Agreements on new models to further define the desired, flexible process.

Coaching and Validating -Assessing gaps by element and devising work plans to improve the production facilities with in Ford Motor Company. -Coaching on implementation of Lean Tools with synchronous lines for Ford Motor Company. -Measuring the success of implementation with Lean Metrics. -Driving to Root Cause fixes within the production environment to drive continuous improvement.New Model Programs  -Investigate “High Hurt” opportunities by work station to improve design for future models. -Benchmark competition to find gaps and develop action plans to gain advantage. -Work with cross-functional teams to deliver program to Safety, Cost, Quality, Performance, & Timing standards. -Recommend Enterprise decisions based off Value Stream Mapping from the entire Value Chain.

Created and developed a Lean Program for the food manufacturing industry. -Wet salad and bakery divisions are contrasting from batch and queue through synchronous systems. -Developed a four-step program introducing seven forms of waste, value added/non-value added concepts, WPO, 5S, Visual Controls, Standardized Work, Value Stream Mapping, PM Programs, and Change-over reduction.
