I had the good fortune to enjoy an exciting and eclectic career spanning 2 continents, 3 countries, 2 languages, and multiple disciplines, businesses and industries, I've developed a very broad perspective on life and business, and a deep appreciation for learning about and getting to know people. I'm an independent whole-of-market mortgage consultant and financial adviser who delights in helping people to get the money they need to finance their property purchase. I assist with a broad range of financing needs, including first-time home buyers, mortgages, remortgages, buy-to-let, let-to-buy, self-build, bridge financing, second charge mortgages, commercial, property development, and pretty much any type of property related lending/borrowing. Additionally I always inform my clients of the insurance and protection products they must consider putting in place to minimise their risk exposure and maximise their ability to maintain their standard of living no matter what surprises life throws at them. My clients are often surprised when they learn that death is the least likely really bad thing that could happen to them, and thankful when I explain how they can take reasonable and affordable steps to insure against the other more likely things.Huge changes were imposed on the UK financial industry following the economic crisis of 2008 - 2012. During this time many advisers left the industry. Some did so because of the lack of business, while others left because they didn't like or accept the changes being imposed upon it by the regulator. My view is that the changes have brought many good things to the mortgage industry, and particularly to the honest hard-working people looking to take out a mortgage. I feel honoured to be one of the professionals qualified to deliver this essential service. In addition to my work as a financial adviser to individuals, I also provide business and property management consulting services to a number of firms. Doing this helps to keep me well rounded in regard to my skill set, and frankly I enjoy helping businesses to solve their challenges and become more successful.
