About Darin Moody
ATP ASEL/AMELCFI/CFII/MEII have been flying for over 25 years and teaching since 2006. I am a career oriented pilot and a graduate of the California State University of Los Angeles with a B.S. in Aviation Business Administration. Aeronautical experience includes over 8500 hours with nearly 3500 of instruction given in over 50 airplane makes and models. Aside from my teaching/mentoring leadership roles, I have worked as a medevac, jet charter, survey, ferry pilot and airshow performer. Along with teaching private, instrument and commercial students, I specialize in tailwheel, backcountry/mountain flying, spin training, Emergency Maneuver Training, aerobatics, and technically advanced aircraft. Even though I do not teach full time anymore, it is still one of my favorite jobs in aviation and I hope to have more time in the future to devote to it.
