Hello,Just a quick summary and time line of my career.I worked in the aerospace industry for a few years right out of high school for Northrop-Grumman. I worked in the process lab and it was my first real job. I then landed in the office products arena in the late 80’s and spent more than 20 years in the industry. I worked for Boise Cascade, Viking Office Products, Office Depot and Staples. I worked my way up from temp to manager and learned most of what I know in the warehouses of these fine companies.During breaks in employment I also worked for a construction company out of Montana/North Dakota called Wild Frontier Construction. I gained valuable experience about the construction business during the years a spent at this company and actually still work there from time to time as needs arise.I then worked at a company called McMaster-Carr in Santa Fe Springs, CA. An industrial equipment supplier with over 700,000 products. I was a forklift operator as well as the LTL coordinator.During my work career I was also a coach for my children’s sports teams as well as at the local high school. I coached baseball for 15 years from t-ball up through Pony/Colt where my teams enjoyed success at every level. I was also the President of the Cypress Pony/Colt league, a great experience. I coached soccer as well for my son and daughters teams along side my wife Cheryl. In 2010 I joined the staff of the Cypress High School wrestling team. In 2015 I was promoted to the girls head coach and have built a very successful girls program that I am very proud of.The next stop was putting on an orange apron and going to work at The Home Depot, my first job in retail. I worked primarily in the flooring department but spent time in all of the departments. Working in retail was an eye opening experience having to interact with customers. While working for The Home Depot I had the opportunity to take a leave of absence and go to St. Thomas, USVI to work as a building inspector for a hurricane relief outfit.That leads me to my current position as a building inspector working for a couple companies.
