When I was 13 I was diagnosed high functioning autistic OCD abd tourettes. I have a passion to get my foot in the door with the Mental health care system and work woth those with autism and with mental illness. peer mentors get certified bases on a background of a lived experience with developmental disability (in my case autism) or with mental illness (in my case OCD). I have an interest in getting into peer support specialist work as well and getting certified in that as well. My Apostolic Christian faith is at the core of everything I do. Network 180 just supervises the internship once iI am officially certified all kinds of doors will open. I'm excited.
