Lead Datapoint team (computer data-base program for school information) by helping other teachers input and understand data. Participated in many Hawaii Geography Alliance (HGA) workshops to improve my teaching Hawai'iana. Reviewed teacher training materials presented by the HGA for use in Hawaii. Relayed critical and correct information to teachers in a timely manner while serving on the Negotiations Committee.

Peace Corps Volunteer, Kiribati, January 1998- December 1999Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Teacher Trainer and ESL Teacher Mentored in-service teachers and paraprofessionals in teaching and English language methods. Co-taught and co-planned lessons with 10 teachers at the school site. Taught 1st through 9th grade students. Presented new ESL Methodology workshops to the 10 in-service teachers. Conducted two separate week long in-service training for 12 outer island paraprofessionals on the capital island (Tarawa).
