CurrentI have been working in the Water and Waste Water industry for twenty nine years and over the last twenty years have been in a management and supervisory role . I currently hold an Professional Technologist designation with the Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPS) as well as a Class IV Water Treatment, Class II Water Distribution, Class I Waste Water Collection, Class I Waste Water Treatment and Cross Connection Control Certifications in the province of Saskatchewan and recently received my National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation. I have been employed with SaskWater for the past 28 years, the last 19years as the District Operations Manager and prior to that 9 years as a Regional Systems Supervisor.During the course of my work I am responsible for budget preparation, control and tracking, strategic business planning, development of work plans, protocols and standard operating procedures, project management and the coordination of the asset management program along with managing our fleet vehicle acquisitions, maintenance and dispersals. I am also responsible for process optimization and reveiw of seven water treatment plants with process that include Maganese Green sand, Pyrolucite and RO membranes for ground water process as well as Ion Exchange, ultra Filtration and Nano Filtration membranes for surface water treatment along with conventional surface water processes.
