Manages all processes related to the EDW environment such as analysis, mapping, modeling, migration, and deployment of EDW objects. Coordinates multiple projects so that delivery of functionality is provided according to the business requirements. Finally, responsible for the supervision of EDW staff including, but not limited to, conducting performance reviews, mentoring staff in best practice and problem solving, supervision of project tasks, resource allocation to projects, budgeting and production issue resolution.Responsibilities Include:- Manage and coordinate all EDW activities, setting priorities and assigning tasks and projects within the team- Act as primary point of contact with clients to establish EDW deliverables plan, milestones, issue resolutions and risk assessments- Manage ongoing production support and systems enhancements including prioritization, scoping, planning, and delivery activities- Collaborate with various teams to scope projects and estimate resources needed to achieve project objectives- Coordinate project plans with project manager for specific project activities and take over project management responsibilities post deployment- Define and manage the SDLC for the EDW environment (requirements analysis, modeling and design, database and end user BI development)- Ensure standards are maintained, balancing consistency with flexibility to support business needs- Maintain an awareness of industry and market best practices to generate ideas for ongoing systems improvements Show less
