During my years of experience as a facilitator and counsellor in the education and employment industries, I helped people with their career challenges. I helped them not because I had to but because I was in their shoes and needed help when I first moved to Canada. My own story turned into a passion of helping others, as well as, a career goal. As an employment counsellor at World Skills Employment Centre, I assist newcomers in making career decisions through conducting employability skills assessment meetings, providing sector specific trainings, and aiding with the practical aspects of job search. Moving a little bit backwards, I was the program facilitator for the employment services at the YMCA. I had the opportunity to develop and deliver program curriculum for a variety of participants to help them develop the skills needed for employment. Moving a little bit more backward, when I was in my beautiful home country, I worked as an assistant professor as I was pursing my MBA degree. During that time, I prepared and presented active lectures and seminars regarding several programs available for undergraduates to help them purse their educational path.At the core, I'm passionate in what I do and always trying to reach for the sky. Even if I know I may not reach it, I keep trying :).
