Oversaw all aspects of management training and development in a region with 75 stores across Southern California, in a position that required 80% travel. Provided ongoing support to 5 district managers.- Trained 50+ external hires in the management training program; placed all but 2 into store manager positions. Trained 10 assistants for promotion to store manager, and 40 team leaders for promotion to assistant manager.- Facilitated courses on team leadership, change management, HR, key performance indicators, planning, trading law, operations, P&L control, interviewing, customer service, and personal effectiveness to groups of 20-35.- Managed the regional operations trainer program. Provided leadership and guidance to 2 regional operations trainers in a pilot program to support the in-store training of customer assistants for promotion to team leader.

Oversaw the profitable operation of branches in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and the recruitment and development of all new agents in Southeast Florida. Provided leadership and direction to 8 assistant branch managers.- Conducted monthly presentations to groups of up to 100 at hotels and conference centers across the region, as well as community job fairs. Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

Managed the largest and highest-volume district for the largest photo concessionaire in the cruise industry. Oversaw all aspects of sales, profit, customer service, operations, and product quality on 7 of the world’s largest cruise ships for the Royal Caribbean International account. Developed and led a team of 126 employees, including 21 managers.- Generated up to $40M in annual sales and consistently exceeded sales and profit goals in all categories including photo, retail, and wedding. Averaged 15% annual sales growth and 12% annual profit growth.- Contributed to an extraordinary increase in annual retail revenue from $3M to $18M by sourcing, launching, and growing several new initiatives including large format printing services and limited edition custom-framed art.- Researched, developed, and introduced a highly successful scrapbooking program that was rolled out across the entire fleet and generated more than $8M in annual sales company-wide.- Reported to the director of operations at Image Photo Services and an account manager with Royal Caribbean. Generated $12M in annual sales while leading a team of 18.- Quickly turned around an operation that was struggling with sales and guest satisfaction; surpassed sales targets every month by 15-20% and achieved the highest YTD guest satisfaction scores in the Royal Caribbean fleet.- Recorded one of the lowest inventory shrink results in the history of the company at just 0.4% of sales.
