I'm currently tasked with the improvement and expansion of the XSPOC product on desktop and mobile platforms, but also manage Theta's data and systems resources on Amazon Web Services. Although my primary responsibility is software development, I've also researched and recommended various support systems to improve productivity, stability, and disaster recovery options to bolster our company's continued success. The company's goal is to implement agile development processes, and we have been engaged in Scrum since October 2013. Our adoption of the Scrum methodology has presented me with daily opportunities to communicate ideas and suggestions about improvements to our product, and with that have been able to contribute to the decision to embrace web-based technologies in the redesign of one of XSPOC's more recent modules. I find the majority of my satisfaction at Theta when I am able to engage in developing with technologies in which I have the most experience.

Spectrum Audit is a software suite designed to efficiently collect and analyze site audits and behavioral observations while providing real-time program engagement and corrective opportunity reports.Our goal in the safety industry is to help simplify process auditing, minimize risks and costs, identify real safety hazards, and justify corrective action.

I was responsible for developing internal and external web-based software solutions to address the needs of citizens and employees. In order to support these solutions, I also had to write techincal documentation and project plans, lead and organize training classes, lead and organize meetings, as well as integrate with existing, mission-critical systems. I was thoroughly involved in the design and maintenance of the Bakersfield Police Department's dispatch and records systems, and regularly worked on-call to provide them 24/7 service. The IT Department's unwritten mission statement was to always provide the right and best solution possible, regardless of our technical resources, which often required me to research and solve problems with which I had little experience.

Fort Wayne, Indiana Area

I was primarily dispatched to homes and businesses to remove spyware and malware from computers. Some businesses contracted with us for server installations, networking, and other IT services. While an employee, I designed and developed an online support-request system in my spare time, but decided to change to move back to California, and so was unable to complete the system.
