When I was 16, I started as a part time DJ at one of the AM stations in my town.When I got to college, I worked for the college radio station and then was able to work for an AM/FM/TV combo before they started being all bought up.When I graduated from college, I toured with a band for 5 years.Since that time (and it's been a long time), I've always worked in some form of live production.However, I longed to be that 16 year old me again. Sitting behind a mic and talking.One day, I had an idea and talked with my now co-host, Viktor Farcic. He said sure. Within the week, we had our first episode published. I started PlanetPope in 2006 to take a chance. A chance on myself. A chance for something better for my family. A chance to make my own decisions on what clients I would take and the work that I would do.I've had the opportunity to work with large publicly traded companies down to small marketing firms that needed mobile applications to realize some of their dreams and goals and everything in between. Whether I was writing software using ObjectiveC or Java for some mobile or on-premise applications, or if I was consulting with a company to help them go cloud native with their applications, the client comes first.Will I always agree with the client? No. Will I challenge the client to think differently? Choose Digital was acquired by Viggle Inc (VGGL) in June 2014. My role continued for the Choose Digital division until departure.

Choose Digital was a digital marketplace that enabled companies to quickly launch a digital content strategy featuring the latest in music, movies, TV shows, eBooks and audiobooks.Our technology was flexible and integrated seamlessly into third party environments using either our API set, configurable mobile applications or our white label digital marketplace.I was responsible for all hardware and software architecture decisions. I was also the primary developer for our public API using Play Framework. All of our applications were written to be cloud native and took advantage of many of the high level features offered by AWS.
