911 operator for Wayne County/Richmond, IN area. Receive emergency and non-emergency calls county wide for law enforcement, fire departments, and ambulance districts and determine nature of call and respond appropriately. Center dispatches for eleven law enforcement agencies, thirteen fire departments, and four ambulance districts. Use proper judgment to establish whether or not call constitutes an emergency situation. Determine levels of response needed and dispatch via radio, telephone, and MDT's the appropriate agencies dependent upon the nature of the call and the severity.
