Dario has, indeed, a permanent interest in thinking how things of different sorts can be done better, and feels naturally uncomfortable with the way they are commonly arranged when he thinks we could and should seek more. He is, moreover, a very thoughtful man, who will obsessively look for a good solution for the problems he identifies, always giving the necessary time for researching, reflection and conversations needed to reach his aims. He has an iron-will determination to do what he thinks is right and useful when he have arrived to a conclusion of that sort, even if he has to face the skepticism of most people. But, at the same time, he will remain always open to find ways to correct his course and improve his results. These virtues and abilities, besides his cleverness, charming character and natural capacity of empathy, has allowed him to manage a family business in Valparaíso, Chile, in a very skillful manner. Handling this family company, he led the startup of the first Chilean Retread Association ARNEC, as President of the Board. The result of this work, the Association succeeded in developing the first regulation for the industry, signing a Cleaner Production and N.A.M.A. agreement.
